4 different male themed cards

 Well, well, well.. 

Welcome back.. Today I'm sharing with you something a bit different.. Something that many of us seem to struggle so badly with but never seem to know or understand why.. lol

MALE CARDS

Each of these cards are unique with their own style.

 I find that using a specialty themed paper and elements it makes putting together male cards so much easier! 

I have used the Uniquely Creative - Drive & Fly collection to make them all. 

6x6 square card - 4x6 regular card - 8x4 slimline card - 2.5x6 tag base

Made these easy cards with the 6x6 paper pack, metal cogs, wooden cogs & embellishment diecut pack.

OH BOY layout

OH BOY

 I created this layout last month for a fb challenge group.. 

The criteria was to follow a sketch and use up scraps.. 

It features a special photo of my oldest son a few years ago, just hanging out and jumping over the random railing.. Ya know, weird stuff teen boys do.. lol

These are the scraps I used from the "AWESOME" collection by Lady Pattern Paper.. 

It has such a fun pre/teen boy feel that I've certainly had fun each time I've played with this collection so far!

Even though it wasn't part of a the sketch, I added this stencil as an extra element to break up the harsh white cardstock base. 

I do love this T Ruler!!!

I used it to keep my half inch strips nice and straight.. :) 

The sketch also had a flag banner figure hanging across the top, but of course you know I'm not having everything perfect.. I'm truly so glad that I changed it up though, cause the strips turned out fantastic!

Rustic Christmas swap projects 2021

More Christmas 2021 catch up shares..

A few quick little projects made for multiple swaps following the criteria set for each…

They include - Pocket letter, Tags, ATC & ATCoins, bookmarks, box, memory dex, title size + smaller sized embellishment clusters and of course cards.

I used the Simple Stories - Rustic Christmas collection.

Even though I’ve made all of these, PLUS loads more that I packaged up before this video PLUS the layouts already shared - I still have loads of this collection still to play with.

Christmas Snow Box

 This little beauty was another fun project put together at the retreat.

I was inspired by another crafter and took a screenshot. Silly for me, I didn't bother looking at the photo again until after I had finished. ha.. Didn't bother with any instructions either. ehh.. why or why do I do this to myself...

I really like to figure it out for myself and turn them into my own projects as much as I can, but sometimes a little instruction should be taken.. lol ..

So of course I made a few mistakes, but thankfully I had advice from other crafters on what to do to improve on it for next time.

Knowing this is just a "mock up" design, made me feel much better..

Lady Vagabond Cards

I truly loved putting these together for a recent swap, that I decided to use up some of the scraps leftover from the 8x8 paper pad and make a couple more. These are a little more simple & basic than the swap cards, but I have included the photos so you can be inspired to push it to the next level.

Kids Creative session 9 - Cosmic Adventures

 Hunter & I made a quick video showing how to "scraplift" another layout.

We used a 6x6 paper pad from Craft O'Clock Creative Young range - Cosmic Adventures.

We had so much fun putting this together, although both of us are still getting over being sick, teenager who doesn’t know how to play the PS4 quietly, water bottle issues & I may have ran over his little toe.. oops, sorry Hunter.. :(

Welcome back crafty kids,

we are excited to bring you another Creative Club session.

We are actually up to # 9...... Although we miscounted in the video.

Today though Hunter & Toni share with you a special Scrapbooking layout put together using a 6x6 paper pad from Craft O'Clock - Cosmic Adventures.

Cutting up 4/5 sheets of the 6x6 papers into different sizes and then layer clustering in the corners behind a photo mat.

Cut out the embellishment images and add more layers with foam tape.

Treasure. Love. Smile. Joy.

Stamperia - Journal layout.. Very basic and simple, made with scraps leftover from an 8"x8" paper pad. 

 Great for the quick 30min or lazy scrapping series. 

Challenge yourself at home to make something with scraps from an older collection and please come back and share it with me!

Welcome back crafters.. I am finally here to try and get on top of sharing my projects. I know I have been very neglectful of my bog yet again for the past 6 months or so. There actually has been a reason for this - our computer wasn't working properly... ekk.. 

Anyway,  today I wanted to share my most recent layout featuring photos of Hunter and friends daughter Ela during our trip to Moranbah last year. 

I created it for an online challenge group. Criteria being to follow a sketch plus to add a name & age..

Grease Monkey - Signature Album and Memory Box

Grease Monkey Signature album

 Project share..

Using a repurposed Cigar Box, I put together this truly stunning male themed Grease Monkey Signature album and Memory box for a special family friend for his 60th Birthday.

When updating my facebook page, I love to share progress photos along the way..

I'm very thankful and humbled to know that the album was used straight away at the party with his loved one's adding messages to it all throughout the night.

The photos are a bit mixed up, sorry.. But you get the idea.
