Home for the Holidays - Circle layout

 Scrapbook Fantasies   Creative Team.

Home for the Holidays

This little beauty was created as Inspiration during a recent Cyber Crop held by Scrapbook Fantasies in aide of the Australia's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.

One of the challenges was to create a layout featuring CIRCLES.
So of course, I got straight into it with the circle grid pattern for many layered Photo and Cluster mats.
The dot pattern paper background really makes everything pop though!

The entire of this layout is made using Scrapbook Fantasies products:
Gnome for the Holidays collection
Peace and Joy collection

Christmas 2023

2023 saw us welcome a PINK Christmas tree.

I have wanted one for so long, but now the boys are older, I figure it was finally the time.
We’ve had real, fake, green, white, black & even spray painted the last one.
Of course I had to coordinate the wrapping paper, sacks & balloons all to match.

I put this together using Scrapbook Fantasies products for their cyber crop over the January  holidays.

This layout was made with some fairly simple tearing and layering of pattern paper. The design is basic and heavy on the circle sparkles!

Christmas card mail-out

 MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This year, I was inspired by a fellow Sassy crafter Shannon to try something a bit new for card bases.. I loved it so much I'm actually going to give it a go with trying to adapt it to a Scrapbook layout too.. :)

Anyway, it's such a fun technique of cluster stamping in a sort of cross in the middle of your plain cardstock, then cutting that cardstock up into the 4 sections sized for the card toppers.
I got a little carried away and didn't exactly follow the concept of a cross though.. oops.. lol..

I actually ended up with 3 different stamp set designs (only two are included below, sorry)
I stamped with a solid Black, a Coral ink and Forrest green ink to coordinate best with the OUTBACK EVE collection - Kaisercraft. The added a little Gold ink for the stencil that matches with the gold glitter cardstock I added as a topper. I finished off the cards by inking all edges with a Golden Black ink so it wasn't as harsh as the stamped black images.

In total I made 24 of these cards... And most of them have found their way to the USA and one to the UK...

We would like to wish all of my crafting friends and family a very Merry Christmas, I hope you all have a lovely and wonderful day fill with great moments that will become memories cherished and a bright New Year coming ahead. Toni, Lane & Hunter.. xoxo

Outback Eve - striped based layout

Last month within an online craft group, we started to share sketch layouts for us to complete "just for fun"... I love this concept as it's much more enjoyable.. I tend to "enter" something if there is no winner or prize.. I'm so non-competitive, I'd just rather not take part.. So this JUST FOR FUN idea is perfect.. :)

Anyway, the sketch is below.. It features loads of long thin strips for the base. Instead of cutting into a new paper collection, I decided to dig back into this OUTBACK EVE collection - Kaisercraft as I had plenty of 12" scraps leftover. I cut a bunch of them into half inch strips and left them at 12" long until I torn each one at the top & bottom as I was planning them for placement.

I did a quick dab of smooshing with the pink ink and then a dabble of soft stenciling with green ink, to coordinate with the colours of the collection..

As you can see, I did change the photo mat sizing up a little bit, just cause I know I won't use that many photo on a layout.. I'm very much in awe of people that are able to get so many on a layout, it looks amazing, but my brain just can't seem to put them together.. ehh..

Double Easel cards - White Christmas

Christmas cards for teachers sorta just don't happen once the kids are in High School.. Which I find super sad and disappointing..
I always offer my boys to make some cards for any of the teachers that they want to gift something to.. Lane gave a couple and the teachers were always so appreciative..

This year, I was so glad that Hunter choose two of his teachers to gift a card and some scratchies to.

I used the Kaiser - White Christmas collection that was released only a couple months ago..

I decided on a double easel design with plenty of mats for layering and cluster embellishment on the larger panel for the topper feature..
Also put on a small Tim Holtz shaker dome for that extra cute element on the front smaller panel.
Inside the card is a pocket that holds the scratch-its..

Joy fold card with extra flips

For a recent swap we were given the freedom to choose a fun fold of our own to send to a partner.. One of my fav folds is actually a Joy Fold.. I wanted to change it up a bit extra, so added some flips to it too.

I am absolutely in love with how this turned out..

Studio Light Christmas theme layout

 Christmas themed interactive layout

Using Studio Light papers, I put together this interactive front hinge style layout with room for a large photo and two 6x4 photos.. Although the front journal cards allow for the options for changing them for more photo space.

Christmas swap box & projects - AB Studios Christmas Days

I grabbed this AB Studios - Christmas Days collection a year ago at a local retreat weekend and have been “saving” it… I don’t know what I’ve been saving it for, just didn’t want to use it cause it’s so cute.

But of course that just doesn’t do my overflowing craftroom any good..

As I signed up for another upcoming Christmas swap, I thought it would be the perfect collection to use.
Criteria is a bag / holder + Shaker card + Tag and include a Recipe.. Using the same papers for the all the projects.
I had so much fun, I added a couple extras.
Rosettes, Notepad, Bookmark & Bauble..
