This month over at the Let's Get Sketchy challenge blog they have provided quite a unique sketch. Plain but so not plain!
Easy but so not easy!
Fun, oooh sooo  much fun!

I choose to follow this sketch both as much as I can and completely opposite at the same time. lol
I used the same sort of colours, but chose flag ends instead of the corners on each edge.

Something else I added was the extra photos that I have included which I placed behind the main photo of the layout.
Hope this has brought a smile to your face as it does mine while I was making this layout..

Thanks for dropping by today, make sure you swing by the Let's Get Sketchy challenge blog to enter your own layout.. :)

Believe in the magic of Christmas

A fun and fairly open challenge this month at the Scrap the Boys blog had caught my eye..

Hunter had his school Christmas concert earlier this week and I captured this awesome photo of him that I knew I wanted to scrap for this layout.
Unfortunately the photo thingys were taking a long time just to sort photos today at BigW and I wanted to make this photo a Black & White, but I wasn't able to change the settings. So for now I have used it, but may change the photo in the future to B&W.

Peace  Joy  Love

I loved being able to use this old Kaiser collection again. I still have a few bits and pieces left even after using it so many times of the years.
With plenty of layering on the right side with strips and washi tape, it gives flair to the layers of the flakes on the left side of the photo..

The simplicity of this layout just makes me happy.. I love proving to myself every now and again that I don't have to overload my brain and creative process to totally fall inlove with a page!

Thanks for dropping by, I hope you can drop by the Scrap The Boys challenge blog too to get inspired to make your own entry! :)
