Interactive Door Nautical Dreams layout

catching up on updating blog posts that were not shared from my facebook page.

This layout was made in OCTOBER 2024 as part of the DESIGN TEAM projects for the NAUTICAL DREAMS collection from  Scrapbook Fantasies .

Interactive Photo Door layout

I'm so thankful that Alicia, Quentin and the Redshaw family saw the spark in me back in 2024 to get back into crafting. Unfortunately it fell flat pretty quickly afterwards, but I'm not back at it. April 2026.. I am trying to catch up on posting / uploading projects and working on plenty of new one's as well.

Let me know what you think!
Thanks for your time, Happy Scrapping..

Runaway Princess Interactive and Easel layout

I'm in the middle of catching up on projects that have been shared on my facebook page but not here, so here we go ---
This layout was made in May 2024 as part of a cyber crop challenge from  Scrapbook Fantasies .

Interactive Shaker layout

This is from the gorgeous collection - Runaway Princess.

This interactive layout includes the fun easel stand as you can see above.
I completed this in two stages. I made the bones of the project in one sitting, them came back to finish off with clusters and additions.

Magical Memories - Striped background

Recently I was reminded about a couple of layouts that I have previously made and love using the one pp stripe technique.
This is something I came up with on my own, but am aware there are many others with similar styles over the years.

I actually made the layouts in the below screenshot as a "how to scraplift" demo on another one of my own layouts from 2020..
I ahve included this screenshot especially as it has the top comment from my biggest supporter, my Aunty Di.. She passed 12 months ago and it has been an extremely hard creative time for me. However I'm back at the craft desk, knowing that she would be saying "Toni Pud, you need to get back into it!" and encouraging me along the way as she always was.

Anyway, as almost a little tribute to the layouts that I have already shared above, I wanted to creative something simple as a throw back but also with it's own little spin.
So I made this with an tiny interactive element, by flipping open the photo to showcase more inside.

You will need two of the #2 pattern papers for this project and about half of the #3 paper as well.

Magical Memories #2 - Fussy Cut all design pieces.
Magical Memories #2 - Cut along all of the weather board strips
Magical Memories #3 - cut 4x 1" strips for additional highlights on the background.

The only embellishment clusters I used were from the fussy cut pieces.
However I did add a little gauze for the soft white texture element and a circle bubble die-cut piece that helps to make it feel right with the sizing and spacing of the clusters on either side of the photo mat.

There is a step by step video being edited right now for this layout, so please look back for that when released. (to be shared on Youtube, Facebook and here on Blogger)

Pink Rectange - double window shaker layout

Thanks so much to the White with One challenge group, I have always loved their unique challenge themes and got excited by the simplicity of the challenges from their Cyber crop from March.

Challenge 1 - white with one colour + 1 shape.
I chose to use PINK & RECTANGLES.

I wanted to share this layout with you as it’s an interactive design with 2 double sided shaker window fronts that open up to another layout with more photo opportunities too.
A few of the elements I added for the rectangle effect - I created my own stencil from scrap pieces to use for the blending. Drew on some more rectangles to trick the eye into a flat 3 dimensional idea too.
Very minimal products to create this layout - 2 white cardstock + 2 photo mats from scraps, 2 A4 Acetate pieces and shaker elements, 1 & half pattern paper (kaisercraft Sunkissed collection), 1 pink cardstock, half a glitter cardstock piece plus flowers and chipboard to cluster.
I haven’t seen anything like this specifically done before, but it was pretty easy to put together once I got my “it’s 12:30am and can’t sleep” ideas fitting together.

PRO TIP - do not push down on chipboard with hot glue on the back if there are gaps in the design.. It burns and hurts!

Hanging Interactive layout

Have you ever seen a Hanging Interactive layout before? Noooo….?!

Well I haven’t either, until I just designed one..
Please allow me to introduce to you - A HANGING LAYOUT..

This was inspired for a crop challenge hosted by Scrapbook Fantasies. Using the Fallen Leaves collection by Kaisercraft.
I have 100% designed this, as it just kept evolving as I was going along..

I have learnt plenty of tricks to make it even better for next time! Definitely need to devote an entire collection for this project instead of the limited papers I had to use to keep within the challenge guidelines.
It has 13 ready to photo opportunities wnd journalling can be added anywhere basically.
It has hidden pockets, pull out mats, flip elements and an easel too.

* work in progress photos below - you can see how the easel sits up on the bottom page.
