Colour inspired mini clusters

 Mini Colour Inspired clusters.

How cute are these little guys.
I believe creating clusters are now my favourite thing to do...
There isn't too much throught power that has to go into it, just stick things down! Make sure it all coorindates is basically the toughest input required. lol

Although this swap was inspirated by a particular project kit set, I chose to use my own products and make them all directly related to individual colours.

Love shades of Pink layout CM

Love shades of Pink layout

On the weekend I attended a local crop.
It was so lovely to be in the room with like minded lady, all encouraging & supporting each other. With everyone being a varying positions in their creative journeys, it was fun to share some tips & tricks and learn some myself too!
I threw this layout together as part of the crop challenge. Use 3 shades of one colour.
So obviously I choose Pink (with Red included) and just put together a basic & simple layout design that anyone no matter of experience level can follow along with.

Magical Memories - LM 697

It has been amazing getting back into the crafty chair lately.
Of course it's much easier working with a great promo pack from Scrapbook Fantasies.
The Magical Memories collection by Alicia Redshaw is full of designs that you can honestly create so many different projects it's truly unlimited with possibilities.

For this layout I chose one of the amazing sketches shared by Lasting Memories layout challenge blog this month. We all know I love a good sketch, so of course it was the first option when I started to play with the leftovers of the collection.

Beautiful

This fun sketch was perfect for some of the scraps and pattern papers.
I started with two Magical Memories # 3 sheets.
The first I used as the base piece. The second I cut 12"x5" and again 12"x4".
The pink Glitter cardstock has two 1" strips as well.
Plus two wooden strips leftover from another layout.

Start by layering the # 3 mats on top of each other and them stick down in the middle of the page. I love the idea of the base pattern and the top middle pattern flowing together as an illusion.
I chose to adhere the glitter strips flush to the top and bottom instead of under or on top.
The wooden strips though, I did stick on as extra layer elements.

A simple photo on top. Add the colour cut clusters and title.
Very basic, but great for scrappers of all levels. Beginning can follow along the sketch or Advanced crafters can add and adjust as much as they want and make it their own.

Magical Memories # 3 - base page and middle layers
Magical Memories # 2 - scrap pieces of weather board strips & fussy cut pieces

Pink Rectange - double window shaker layout

Thanks so much to the White with One challenge group, I have always loved their unique challenge themes and got excited by the simplicity of the challenges from their Cyber crop from March.

Challenge 1 - white with one colour + 1 shape.
I chose to use PINK & RECTANGLES.

I wanted to share this layout with you as it’s an interactive design with 2 double sided shaker window fronts that open up to another layout with more photo opportunities too.
A few of the elements I added for the rectangle effect - I created my own stencil from scrap pieces to use for the blending. Drew on some more rectangles to trick the eye into a flat 3 dimensional idea too.
Very minimal products to create this layout - 2 white cardstock + 2 photo mats from scraps, 2 A4 Acetate pieces and shaker elements, 1 & half pattern paper (kaisercraft Sunkissed collection), 1 pink cardstock, half a glitter cardstock piece plus flowers and chipboard to cluster.
I haven’t seen anything like this specifically done before, but it was pretty easy to put together once I got my “it’s 12:30am and can’t sleep” ideas fitting together.

PRO TIP - do not push down on chipboard with hot glue on the back if there are gaps in the design.. It burns and hurts!

Christmas 2023

2023 saw us welcome a PINK Christmas tree.

I have wanted one for so long, but now the boys are older, I figure it was finally the time.
We’ve had real, fake, green, white, black & even spray painted the last one.
Of course I had to coordinate the wrapping paper, sacks & balloons all to match.

I put this together using Scrapbook Fantasies products for their cyber crop over the January  holidays.

This layout was made with some fairly simple tearing and layering of pattern paper. The design is basic and heavy on the circle sparkles!

Beautiful reasons to love yourself - 49 and Market Pink layouts

November Retreat projects - PART 4

Righto, now we are moving on to the 49 & Market makes..

Simple with layering & clusters, but I enjoyed putting together the "pretties"...

There are so many beautiful reasons to love yourself

Another layout that turned heads, which of course I was left speechless and wondering why... lol
I threw this layout together using scraps from the other one.
Beautiful papers, rub ons, ephemera & flowers all from 49 & Market really did all the hard work for me here.

A cute little design that took no more than about 40min to put together.

It was getting late, close to midnight I think. I was running almost on empty, that was the best I was able to pull out for that one..
