oooo I do love Easter!

It's definitely my favourite holiday of the year. Today I'm sharing a quick progress video of make 3 Easter themed tags / bookmarks.

Each has a different sheet of fussy cut pieces and different colour base.

All are similar with their cluster layers though. It's basic and easy! I love making projects like this, it's relaxing not having to over think every element and the flow keeps going. 😍 I used the sheets from Craft O'Clock that I cut and left my thumb with a numbness.. 😬😢 Anyway, totally worth it and I still have heaps of leftovers to play with for other projects. It’s EASTER and it’s my favourite time of the year! In central Qld we are finally cooling down and we are having Chocolate for Breakfast! 😆🍫

Today I am bringing you a fast & fun basic idea for an Art Journal / Daily Journal page. The video is 3min and thankfully only took me about 12min from start to finish in real creative time.

It starts with stamping randomly to make a background, then the smooshing technique. Layer some scrap papers for a mat to add super cute stickers. Use both glue & 3D foam tape to get dimension and texture elementals so the eyes swoop over the design. I used some scraps from an older Easter collection from Echo Park. Hope you all enjoy.. Easter Circles layout

 My favourite time of year!

Using a fabulous PhotoPlay - Easter Blessings collection I have joined in a recent SHAPES virtual crop weekend. One of the challenges was to create a layout featuring a focus on circles and punches.

So of course I jumped into action and started throwing this one together..

Even though I have a rough idea pictured in my head before starting, once I actually get creating quite a lot of it is simply winging it in real time..

There are plenty of punched circles of different sizes and stickers to effectively layer & cluster together..
