This / That swap tags

Each week I create new ideas and inspirational projects for a small online group I am a part of on FB. 

I love to try and come up with things I normally wouldn't bother making. But the imagination runs wild when I can base projects on PenPal ideas or upcoming swaps. 

The weather hasn't been great for progress videos lately, but I did manage to throw these This / That tags together today and quickly did a show & tell video afterwards instead..

I used 1 plain cardstock for the 8 white bases.

And 3 half pattern papers of the Kaiser - Lady Like collection.

Base tag - 6x3"

Bottom pattern paper - 5 3/4 x 2 3/4"

Top pattern paper - 5 1/2 x 2 1/2"

The use whatever you have in your stash to create embellishment toppers.

Alphas, Stickers, Colour Cuts, Doily, Glitter Paper ++

Punch a tag hole at the top, roll in an album ring & add some ribbon for decoration.

It’s a boy thing 

This layout was so fun to make. 

Offering plenty of layer options and even open for interruption on how to shade the bottom half of the layout. 

Of course I dove straight in with a stencil and ink blending brushes.. 

My fav trusty stencil from Carta Bella featuring a foliage design works so perfectly with this Dino themed collection.

Uniquely Creative cut apart sheet for title

I used a Forrest Green first and then finished off with some random Brown blending too, just to add a depth element. I knew I wanted to add layers with the pattern paper, so needed to even out and continue on subtly the depth with the bottom part of the layout also. 

Here are plenty of close up photos to enjoy.. You can see the fussy cut piece and the layers I used to create the layout.

Farm swap cards

 Moooo... Righto, seriously.....

How super cute are these cards!!
Usually I share multiple cards in one post, but these absolutely deserve their own. 
I just think they are adorable!

I used a very old Kaiser range and the colourcuts are from Scrapbook Fantasies. 

As always.... I make one card as a sample, then start a production line of items for assembly of the rest of the cards..

Everything is amazing layout

Using this incredible photo of friend Em rescuing this beautiful Turtle matched with the Prima - Surf Board collection makes this whole layout fun and bright.

Not a typical beach themed page, bur effective and such a joy to put together.

Happy Mail pocket - Sweet As Honey

 Using scraps from the PhotoPlay - Sweet As Honey collection I have thrown together a cute 5x5" flat flap opening style Happy Mail pocket project. 

It was surprisingly fast to make and so easy! 

Start with 12x12 base, score long line  @ 3 3/8 & 3 1/2 rotating each side. 

Cut out corner squares. 

Mid square paper mat - 4 3/4 x 4 3/4" 

Side flaps mats - 3 1/4 x 4 3/4"  (4 inside + 4 outside) 

Add plenty of flat embellishments (like stickers) and a Belly Band 1x12" strip for closure element. 

This will be for an upcoming swap, but will also be perfect for a Gift Card present or a PenPal letter.
