Flower themed Birthday Shadow box card

Recently for my mother's birthday, the boys and I put together this special shadow box frame card.. Using special colour cuts from Scrapbook Fantasies and papers from 49 & Market.

It was so much fun putting together the layers for this, I have included some photos below to show how it all comes together..

Adventure Right Here layout

One of my most favourite layouts that I have created in the last 12 months.. This one was actually a WINNER at the local show in the "Landscape" category..

Using the 49 & Market - Hike More collection, it's actually a scraplift of a layout I created for a class taught in store last year.

The photo captures my young man Hunter on top of a local Mountain popular with climbers and hikers.

Multi circle layered “Koala” layout

Multi circle layered "Koala" layout featuring a beautiful and soft photo of my youngest boy Hunter, Australia Day 2021 at the Australia Zoo.

WHITE WITH 1 - Earth Cyber Crop (March 2022)

Challenge 2- White with Green + Leaves / Trees + use Fibres of some sort.

Yes, I really did fussy cut all of these.. ekk.
It took about 45min to do the whole sheet.
Then I also inked the edges.
Didn't end up using all of them on the layout shared eariler, so have saved them for another project.

Plenty of foam tape used on the layers for this one.
😆
I started out wanting to use a circle on top with the leaves popping out from underneath, but then I found the white wood paper and everything changed.. lol.
Like usual, I wing the changes and so happy as it turned out way better than I originally planned!
🙂

Leaves are fussy cut - Craft O'Clock.
Rubons & Green pp - 49 & Market.
Flowers - Kaiser
White wood pattern paper - Lemoncraft
Stencil - Carta Bella

I used this very simple circle cutter tool to cut out the circle layers.

Vacation Time - Let's Get Sketchy DT

VACTION TIME

As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do something special with some rub-ons.
So I grabbed the 49 & Market - Beached collection and went to work..
I honestly fell down the rabbit hole with this layout and wanted to keep going and going... lol
The more the eyes wonder over this layout, the more you'll find.

-- PROGRESS PHOTOS - PUTTING THE LAYOUT TOGETHER --

To make sure the triangles are all the same size, I made myself a little template.
3 1/4" x 4 rectangle piece of scrap.
3 1/4 - tall
on the top edge, measure in 2" and place a pencil dot (center).
Then cut from each bottom corner to the center dot on the top edge to create the triangle.

Mark little dots / lines on the left side of the triangles and then remove. These are simple marker dots so you have a guide on where to place the rub-ons so they look like they are partly behind the pattern paper triangles.

I really enjoyed the layering of the rub-ons.. However, I did make a little mistake - can you spot it? lol

To make sure I got the triangles laid straight across the layout, I used a T Ruler..

Thanks so much for dropping by! Make sure you head on over to the Let's Get Sketchy challenge blog or facebook page for more inspiration for our amazing DT!

Let your creativity flow and hope to see your linked up entry soon!
Toni.. xoxo
