 Chase your dreams - "The Haven" beach

Today I'm sharing another WINNER from the local show (2nd place actually, I captured 1st & 2nd in this category) 

Another layout that I'm trying to catch up on, using a Kaisercraft collection.. I fussy cut plenty of cogs which were layered on top of some large pattern paper pieces on the background..

Mintay Wedding layout

You know when you have amazing friends that allow you to use their photos every year... :) 

This is them! Meg and Shannon have very graciously allowed me to use their wedding photos for 3 years to enter layouts into the local show. 

WINNER

Using the gorgeous Mintay - Precious Moments collection, I fussy cut until my hands couldn't cut any more.. lol 

Starting off with a white cardstock base and adding some brown ink blending to create an interesting background. 

Layer on some paper and the fussy cut pieces.. Plenty of 3D foam tape helps with dimension effects. 

Flowers and gauze finishes off the layout..

Mixed media base layout

WINNER

Oh my goodness.. This one I really struggled with.. 

I had an idea in my head and it just wasn't working. 

I didn't end up loving this layout HOWEVER it did win the challenge that it was entered into... so.... hey, awesome! lol 

I used some paste to coordinate with the mood photo that was the criteria inspiration.. 

Then added a stencil, photo and colourcuts.
