Lasting Memories 482 - Anything but a tradition 12x12

DT Button

# 482 - Anything but a traditional 12x12 layout.

* create an 8x11 / 8x8 / pocket page layout.

There are so man beautiful reasons to be happy

To finish off my month of challenges, I am featuring something that relates to my layout last week also. I am currently doing up a pocket flip album, but they are in all sorts of different sizes and designs. This one is 8x11" and again features the Kaiser - Miss Betty & Scrap Studio collections.

Doing albums like this give me the creativity to make each page it's own design but still keep it cohesive as all of the papers and elements are the same. The chipboard is from Celebr8. the leaves are old silver ones from Kaiser, plus some twine and washi tape. Quite a simple by effective layout.

I haven't added any extra elements of texture to this page other than what can see. I worked with mostly paper. The photo mat has torn edges over the top of it so the photo isn't quite as harsh on the page. The torn measuring tape strips give that eye catching difference that just wouldn't have been there without it.

So to finish off this month, I hope you have enjoyed the challenges that involved using a new tool / technique, white space, layout featuring yourself and now something non 12x12 traditional. Please remember you still have a few more days to create and upload your entries. Step outside your comfort zone or support others that have stepped outside their's by leaving them a little comment on their entries..

What do you think?

 Thank you very much for joining me today and I'm so excited to be able to share with you all the creations for the Lasting Memories Design Team!
I really hope that you will drop by the blog and check out the inspiration from the rest of the team members and then get creative to link up your own entry.. There is plenty of options for this challenge theme, whatever you like! Just make sure it isn't a traditional 12x12.. lol

Thanks again, Toni.. xoxo
