LASTING MEMORIES LAYOUT CHALLENGES

hey hey crafters.. I'm so excited to be back again this week, I didn't want to this challenge to go by without making something special for it.

Instead of creating something traditional and scary, I went with something a bit different.. yes yes, I tend to do this don't I... haha.. 

Here is Hunter and I dressed to theme for a Harry Potter trivia night.. I went in my Hufflepuff colours, very proud to be representing Puff Pride!!

Hunter loves to dress up as Harry Potter and owns several glasses in this style. They all have the lens popped out as he doesn't actually need to wear them. lol. 

We have many wands between us, including a super cute wand pen which we used at trivia too.. 

I used the Echo Park “This & That” pattern paper, Memory Maze chipboard piece, Silver Ice Gelato & Mustard Seed Ranger Distress Marker... 

Since Hunter is a Gryffindor and I am a Hufflepuff, I decided to include to the traits of both house on some pull out journal tags along with the tag that I have explained the layout on. The "Harry Potter" label is actually tag from a piece of merch..  

These are the goodies I used on this layout.. I wanted to show you that you don't need to use alot of different products to create an eye catching layout. This is a simply layout yes, but it gets the point across easily and is not overwhelming. I love these alpha stickers and simply drew some extra lines and dots on them to make them stand out more from the pattern paper.
