This year Hunter's class had to have a supply teacher for 3 days a week in the last term as his main teacher filled in an AP role when that teacher when on LSL.. Hunter is quite excited as he will actually have this teacher for her main teacher next year in Grade 1.. 😀
Anyway, although he didn't have her for very long, he still wanted to make her some special..
Hunter and I agreed that she should have something different to his other teachers though.. So we made this 4x6 chipboard Christmas Album..
Using the Kaiser - Silver Bells collection, we the album and this quick card..
The cover of the album was covered and layered with the paper.. The middle has been diecut with the Big Shot.. The middle circle is being highlighted by some silver glitter behind it..
The bling is from Memory Maze.. Rings and BTP album from Kaiser.. and some silver ribbon from the dollar shop..
For the inside pages I really wanted to make sure I had the balance right for photos to be added and the embellishments... This page features a Memory Maze ATC chipboard piece with a diecut from the 6x6 paper pad, bling and mircobeads..
Here are some baulbles I fussy cut off a sheet from the 6x6 paper pad, then added the string pearls to give the effect of them hanging / dangling..
Here is the perfect opportunity for journaling..
Using the Memory Maze "Pebble" stencil, I added some clear impasto and glitter to make this fun texture..
Last inside page simply has some white mesh ribbon, string pearls and the sentiment saying.. This is the small strip that is cut off the bottom of the 12x12 sheet of pattern paper..
Last step was to add the diecut (again, from the 6x6 paper pad) and Hunter's name..
I decided not to paint any edges of the project until it was all put together.. I really LOVE the look of distressing and especially the Winter Wonderland feel, so this was perfect to achieve both effects..
The white gesso applied at the end, gave that snowy edges look...
