Kids class session (September 2021)

 I had such an honour last year to finally be able to host Kids classes again.. Unfortunately it didn't last long due to me no longer working at that store, but it was fun to get back into it with the kids again after quite a few years..

Multi circle layered “Koala” layout

Multi circle layered "Koala" layout featuring a beautiful and soft photo of my youngest boy Hunter, Australia Day 2021 at the Australia Zoo.

 WHITE WITH 1 - Earth Cyber Crop (March 2022)

Challenge 2- White with Green + Leaves / Trees + use Fibres of some sort.

Yes, I really did fussy cut all of these.. ekk.

It took about 45min to do the whole sheet.

Then I also inked the edges.

Didn't end up using all of them on the layout shared eariler, so have saved them for another project.

Plenty of foam tape used on the layers for this one.

I started out wanting to use a circle on top with the leaves popping out from underneath, but then I found the white wood paper and everything changed.. lol.

Like usual, I wing the changes and so happy as it turned out way better than I originally planned!

Leaves are fussy cut - Craft O'Clock.

I used this very simple circle cutter tool to cut out the circle layers.

OH BOY layout

OH BOY

 I created this layout last month for a fb challenge group.. 

The criteria was to follow a sketch and use up scraps.. 

It features a special photo of my oldest son a few years ago, just hanging out and jumping over the random railing.. Ya know, weird stuff teen boys do.. lol

These are the scraps I used from the "AWESOME" collection by Lady Pattern Paper.. 

It has such a fun pre/teen boy feel that I've certainly had fun each time I've played with this collection so far!

Even though it wasn't part of a the sketch, I added this stencil as an extra element to break up the harsh white cardstock base. 

I do love this T Ruler!!!

I used it to keep my half inch strips nice and straight.. :) 

The sketch also had a flag banner figure hanging across the top, but of course you know I'm not having everything perfect.. I'm truly so glad that I changed it up though, cause the strips turned out fantastic!

St Pat’s Day 2022 - How to Scraplift & add Fake layers

 Another fun layout to share with you featuring some St Pat's Day celebration.. 

This one is the second layout I made last week using the Lucky Charm collection by PhotoPlay. 

HOW TO SCRAPLIFT & ADD FAKE LAYERS - YOU TUBE VIDEO

This layout was all about scraplifting another layout I had designed and adding some fake layers using the adorable Lucky Charm collection.. 

I started off with a paint technique on the base with green and then added some orange spray mist over that once dried. 

Then it was into the scraps and tearing leftovers to design the layers under the photo mat.

St Patricks Day 2022 “Lucky Charm” layout

Kids Creative session 9 - Cosmic Adventures

 Hunter & I made a quick video showing how to "scraplift" another layout.

We used a 6x6 paper pad from Craft O'Clock Creative Young range - Cosmic Adventures.

We had so much fun putting this together, although both of us are still getting over being sick, teenager who doesn’t know how to play the PS4 quietly, water bottle issues & I may have ran over his little toe.. oops, sorry Hunter.. :(

Welcome back crafty kids,

we are excited to bring you another Creative Club session.

We are actually up to # 9...... Although we miscounted in the video.

Today though Hunter & Toni share with you a special Scrapbooking layout put together using a 6x6 paper pad from Craft O'Clock - Cosmic Adventures.

Cutting up 4/5 sheets of the 6x6 papers into different sizes and then layer clustering in the corners behind a photo mat.

Cut out the embellishment images and add more layers with foam tape.

Sweet - Let's Get Sketchy DT

 Woohoo.. What can I say other than - WOW!

I am super excited to announce that I have been selected onto the LET'S GET SKETCHY challenge blog Design Team. 

I have been an entry participate of theirs for many years.. Lucky enough to win a couple of times and now finally on their team. 

 

I can not express the words for how grateful I am for this opportunity. 

I have found myself with some extra time on my hands since finishing up my job at the local craft store, so this with my love of sketches is the prefect timing for me. YAY!

Today I wanted to share with you this layout I have put together for my first reveal using this months challenge sketch by Brenshevia. 

SWEET

This layout features a truly magical photo of my sister in law with my gorgeous niece and nephew.

They are absolutely glowing, so of course it was the obvious choice to use for this sketch and the Uniquely Creative "Secret Garden" collection. 

So darn cute!
