Friends layout

Scrapbook Fantasies   Creative Team.

When you have an idea….. run with it.
No idea if it’ll work or how it’s turn out in the end, but just go with the creative flow.

Friends layout

This was quite relaxing to put together.
Each step just seemed simple and worked.
I’ve completed this layout as I was inspired by the Cyber Crop challenge 4 by Scrapbook Fantasies - theme of FRIENDS.
I used 2 Creative Builder sheets of “Wonderful Whimsy” collection and a pattern paper from Sunny Days collection.
I am really chuffed at how good it all looks with the black mat base, as it toes everything in and makes everything pop individually as you scan the eye across the page.
The acetate adds a special layer and element of unexpected too

Slimline Plane and Train gate fold

 Planes, Trains and Automobiles....

Ok, maybe I didn't use an automobile, but I did use this super cute bike instead.

For this slimline swap card, I made a gate fold and included the belly band as well. I believe this gave me a great way to be able to include all these modes of transport perfectly.
The swap theme didn't require adding all of the modes of transport, it only really required one.. But it's so much more fun figuring out ways to add more when we can, right?!

I used papers from the Garage Days collection by Kaisercraft.
and stickers from Uncharted collection by Creative Memomies.

Tag layout

Scrapbook Fantasies   Creative Team.

Tag Mandela layout

Next challenge is done for the International Scrapbooking Day, Cyber Crop with Scrapbook Fantasies… Challenge 5 was to use Tags.
So I made 4 tags 3”x5” and then added a couple of smaller tags as well.
Using the gorgeous Boho Beauty collection and a 12” Mandela diecut as the feature piece on the left side.
Topped it off with the Dream Catcher chipboard piece and word.

Folio - Flip Journal

Folio - Flip Journal

This project was inspired by Idaize on YT. I found her videos so easy to follow and not over sensory loaded either. Go check her out, she has plenty of projects to be inspired by..

So this was included as a part of the swaps for this month.
Of course, like normal, I added extra layers to make the project fit my style and sprinkle of creativeness to make it a bit different.

I used the Ephemera Queen collection from Graphic 45.
For those that have been around for a while, you'll know that I've used this collection a few times for some BIG projects, but I can honestly say I still have a little bit left. Definitely enough for one or two more projects in the future. :)

Below you'll see the photos of each page and added extra bits like the layers that have Velcro dots on the front.

I certainly love all of the tuck spots and pockets this album has.

Dream layout

 Scrapbook Fantasies   Creative Team.

Dream

This gorgeous collection designed by Alicia Redshaw at Scrapbook Fantasies was the perfect thing to get me back into creating again.
Using plenty of scrap pieces to put together layouts that have a strip element to them.
This layout was very quick to put together.
With a white cardstock base, 3 wider strips underneath the layered photo mats in the middle section. The Colour cut dream catcher is an absolute delight! Finished off with some gauze under the mats and some sequins for an eye catching sparkle.

Heart & Soul - sketch

(*publishing from draft April 2024)

I was honoured recently when Louise from Scrapbookers Journal magazine allowed me to be a part of the team to contribute to the Sketch inspiration.

We all know how much I love a good sketch, so of course when Louise put the call out for interest, I jumped on and crossed my fingers.

My Heart & Soul

As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do a few different versions.

This is the second layout featuring the Uniquely Creative - Boho Soul collection from the 2023 Christmas Advent calendar kit.

First of all, I put all of the town layers together on one bit square, then cut it into the four grid style.
Instead of flowers as per the sketch, I added plenty of collectable pieces for the clusters.
A brand new Pinecone ink pad ties it all together nicely, although it is a bit dark and messy.
