This special card was custom made with my own design. 
I'm not really sure what to call it, but Window Gate fold sounds pretty close. :) 

I created this for a friend using Celebr8 papers and chipboard.

Next challenge is done for the International Scrapbooking Day, Cyber Crop with Scrapbook Fantasies… Challenge 5 was to use Tags.

So I made 4 tags 3”x5” and then added a couple of smaller tags as well.

Using the gorgeous Boho Beauty collection and a 12” Mandela diecut as the feature piece on the left side.

Topped it off with the Dream Catcher chipboard piece and word.

Heart - Tearing layout

This one blew my heart away.

It’s a simple design, look me less than 45min to put together, but the papers flowed and the idea was just perfect.

Scrapbook Fantasies has another Cyber crop over the weekend, this one was for the Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.

Although entries do require a photo, journal & title for submission, I’m happy just to share inspiration and ideas.

I used Springtime Tea Party collection for the pattern papers, these all fit so perfectly!

White cardstock for the base, then layered with three torn strip layers.

Bottom: 3.5” wide

Middle: 2.5” wide

Top: 1.5” wide

And the middle strip actually had a forth layer with the 1” wide strip of the Hearts design.

The outside strips have a really cool White Border Chippie cut as well. This gives another eye catching texture & element to the layout.

Keeping it simple, I added a chippie title that was coloured with Gelatos sticks, a small bit of mesh underneath as a mat and the flowers to finish it all off.

Using Scrapbook Fantasies - Springtime Tea Party collection, I’ve done up a base for the Tearing challenge and thought it would be a great opportunity to display just how versatile some layouts can be without even realising.

Below are some 3x3 photo mats, 3x4 photo mats & one 5x7 photo mat.

Moved around the page, it can give different opportunities to capture memories using LOADS of photos, just a couple or maybe only one.

Design elements like a title, journaling and embellishments can be added to suit whichever option you choose as well.

This sort of design can lead to continuous paper designs throughout a whole album if required or would great as a double spread layout!

Slimline Feminine Card

First off, I'm going to send a special shout out and thanks to Maureen who jumped in and volunteered to be my swap partner for this swap. I was making this card during a zoom crop, only to realise that I had folded it the wrong way and was not quite up to the correct size specs. Maureen was so lovely and said she'd partner up with me instead of me having to redo the card.

I absolutely LOVED putting this card together.. It just kind of keep growing and evolving as I went along.

I used the Romantic Journal collection from Stamperia.
then add a couple of frames, flowers and that feather just makes it all seem so lush! The bling key and glass butterfly to make it sparkle too.

This is the one that got me back into scrapping.

I stuck with something I knew and have scraplifted from myself many times before.

I needed something easy, familiar and guaranteed to make me happy.

This layout is based off a stripped background layout I had designed many years ago and have the pleasure of scraplifting from myself on the occasion over the years.

This is a prime example of how using scraps from a collection can be used to extend your projects.

We all have random pieces of varying sizes leftover without a clue what to do with them.

I hope that the simplicity I have shared with these 5 layouts can inspire you to use up even more of your leftover scraps in an easy and coordinated manner.

This layout I started out with pattern paper #3 as the 12x12” background base, Before quickly placing #5 & #6 pieces on top to layer for a base. Approx 10.5”..

Using #4 to cut the strips from (or use your own leftover pieces), stick them randomly & tightly down to another white scrap piece to hold them all together. I have found this to easier to do keep control of the pattern and the straightness of the strips as I’m working..

Finish off with chipboard pieces, photo mats & flowers.

Although this is quite an easy layout, it’s effective and can be a little fiddly with the strips. But it’s worth it and still can be fully completed under 60min.

Best not to think too much with this one. Just stick it down and away you go.
