This special card was custom made with my own design. 
I'm not really sure what to call it, but Window Gate fold sounds pretty close. :) 

I created this for a friend using Celebr8 papers and chipboard.

Open Card April - Seize the Day Window 3D card

I don't really know what to call this card. I made it from an idea that popped into my mind while I was sifting through die cuts for another project. lol.
So once I was finished that one, I jumped straight on this one. Using Uniquely Creative - Seize The Day collection.

Of course I started off with a card base, then cutting out the front panel to form a window with acetate.

I stuck down that awesome circle diecut piece on the back and started to add the clusters.
Thankfully I hadn't stuck it down too eagerly and was able to slide the bingo ephemera piece underneath. I really do think this helped with giving the card a 3D and depth effect.

Once I was done I realised there was no where to write a message, so thanks to Kerry who was on a zoom crop with me at the time, as she suggested adding a pocket and tag to the backside of the card. I did, and it looks awesome!!

RAKS box pockets

As you all may be aware from my updates, I have recently had some time back at my craft desk. The first real quality time in my creative space in a couple of years. 

To get the creative spark rolling, I reactivated myself in one of the swap groups. I used to belong to many groups, but have left most of them over the years as I found it would be quite heartbreaking. 

Anyway, I'm back active again and truly loving it. 

Below is two very quick wide pockets I made to hold some RAK's that I sent out for April. 
Very simple, but affective.

And I can promise, it definitely got the mojo flowing fast!

Card made with scraps - swap

 During my recent push to reconnect with my creativity and with myself again, I signed up to some SWAPS with a local Aussie facebook card making group. 

This group CREATIVE CRAFTERS (Australia) have been trying invaluable with my process and have connected with them through online crop sessions as well. It has been such a delight and humbling to be accepted so quickly. Although I have been a part of this group for many years and did partake in swaps quite a while ago, I've just been lurking in the shadows for the past couple of years and I'm so grateful they allowed me to stay and be inspired all this time. 

I signed up to 6 swaps this month. 

The first one I'm sharing with you today I know has already arrived. 

I used scraps from a Uniquely Creative collection I had leftover.

Joy fold card with extra flips

 For a recent swap we were given the freedom to choose a fun fold of our own to send to a partner.. One of my fav folds is actually a Joy Fold.. I wanted to change it up a bit extra, so added some flips to it too. 

I am absolutely in love with how this turned out..

Flower themed Birthday Shadow box card

 

Recently for my mother's birthday, the boys and I put together this special shadow box frame card.. Using special colour cuts from Scrapbook Fantasies and papers from 49 & Market. 

It was so much fun putting together the layers for this, I have included some photos below to show how it all comes together..

Wedding card - Country Boho

 CARD PART 2

Righto, here is the second card that I made for the Custom wedding card order.

Even though I really liked the previous card, I just couldn't love it for this particular order / couple. 
So at 2am I came up with a different concept and plan.. The morning of the order pick up I was up and at the craft desk before breakfast.. lol 

I used the beautiful Mintay - Harmony collection which really highlights a fun Country / Boho theme. It's a lot more relaxed and much nicer feel for the order brief. 

*The happy couple sent me through the most wonderful feedback comment also. That was really lovely..

Wedding card Shabby / Garden

I recently put together this beautiful floral styled card for a custom order wedding card.. 

Although I absolutely enjoyed the process of putting it together, I actually just didn't love it for the couple that I was making it for.....  ------ SO I made another.... Keep an eye out for CARD 2.. 

Anyway, for this one I used beautiful papers from Kaiser, rub ons from 49&Market, load of flowers and sprays, gauze, chipboard and even make a matching box since the card was too big for any envelope I had in my stash..
