 I had such an honour last year to finally be able to host Kids classes again.. Unfortunately it didn't last long due to me no longer working at that store, but it was fun to get back into it with the kids again after quite a few years..

Princess Shadow Box

 Righto, now this one was a fun project to make.. First time I've ever done something like this and thankfully it was much easier than I had thought it would be.. lol

Here is the back... Perfect to slide a PenPal letter in the pocket or it can be used to add a special Birthday tag & gift card..

WHITE WITH 1

One of my old DT challenge groups held a cyber crop over the weekend. They are holding the challenges open all week for anyone that wishes to join in.

Here is my entry into challenge 3. It's a TicTacToe based theme. I actually completed a cross with - Twine / Earth / Flowers + Wood Veneer / Earth / Stencil background.

Of course I used my fav foliage stencil for the base and added a 3 window shaker.

Unfortunately, I'm not totally in love with this finished layout. I struggled to get a flow going, so will definitely have another go of the winder shaker idea in the future.

Between losing tools, housework, school run, shopping, errands, parent / teacher interviews & cooking dinner. This took me HOURS! Which of course we all know disturbs the flow for me..

If I can't get a layout done in a hour or so, I usually just toss it..

Anyway, yellow might seem an odd choice for an Earth colour theme, but I wanted to put my own spin on it. This photo of a friend in the Sunflower fields near by (entered with safety, respect & permission) gave me such a feeling of joy & creativeness that I wanted to capture. The Yellow delights that nature deliver us like Flowers, Birds, Bees, Fruit & so much more definitely should be celebrated!

 Playing catchup yet again with my cards.. Most of these were infact made last year, but have slipped though the cracks with me forgetting to upload and share them here on my blog..

I made this card special for a dear friend who stood with my youngest son to sponsor him during his Confirmation ceremony since his Godparents were not able to make it due to travel restrictions.

Multi circle layered “Koala” layout

Multi circle layered "Koala" layout featuring a beautiful and soft photo of my youngest boy Hunter, Australia Day 2021 at the Australia Zoo.

 WHITE WITH 1 - Earth Cyber Crop (March 2022)

Challenge 2- White with Green + Leaves / Trees + use Fibres of some sort.

Yes, I really did fussy cut all of these.. ekk.

It took about 45min to do the whole sheet.

Then I also inked the edges.

Didn't end up using all of them on the layout shared eariler, so have saved them for another project.

Plenty of foam tape used on the layers for this one.

I started out wanting to use a circle on top with the leaves popping out from underneath, but then I found the white wood paper and everything changed.. lol.

Like usual, I wing the changes and so happy as it turned out way better than I originally planned!

I used this very simple circle cutter tool to cut out the circle layers.
