3 mini swap pockets - simple stories vintage coastal

These super cute mini pockets were put together for a swap..

 I used the Simple Stories - Vintage Coastal collection. 

Although there were specs for the pockets, I added plenty of little cluster and elements to make these as much "my style" as I could.. 

I believe in creating something good enough that I would want to receive too. 
Quite often for simple swaps like this, I add extra goodies as gifts to surprise my swap partner.. Things like acetate sheets layovers / bling / lollies / colour cuts packets / washi tape / dies / stencils..

Summer layouts using CM

 During September I attended a local Creative Memories crop session. 
Although I don't have a huge range of Creative Memories products, I do choose to be very selective and only create with CM items when I'm at the crop out of respect (there are no rules in place for this and many people do use other brands, I just choose not to)

I made a few single layouts and even a swap card.

Today I'm sharing 3 very different styled layouts all featuring the PhotoPlay - Sweet As Honey collection. All 3 layouts are fairly simple and easy to recreate if you'd like to scraplift..

Using instructions given in the swap group, I put together this small 5x3" album with a 12x12 sheet (cut down to 12x10) from the Scrap & Me - Bright & Soft collection.. 

I included plenty of really simple tags in tuck spots using scraps from the pattern paper and from my stash.

I love using this Simple Stories - Vintage Coastal collection. 

I've made so many different projects so far and still have loads of scraps left to put together so much more too!

This is a fun and actually quite a quick project using only 2 pieces of cardstock / pattern paper.. 

You can store pretty much anything in there for a PenPal, like letters, note paper / pad, envelopes etc..

It’s EASTER and it’s my favourite time of the year! In central Qld we are finally cooling down and we are having Chocolate for Breakfast! 😆🍫

Today I am bringing you a fast & fun basic idea for an Art Journal / Daily Journal page. The video is 3min and thankfully only took me about 12min from start to finish in real creative time.

It starts with stamping randomly to make a background, then the smooshing technique. Layer some scrap papers for a mat to add super cute stickers. Use both glue & 3D foam tape to get dimension and texture elementals so the eyes swoop over the design. I used some scraps from an older Easter collection from Echo Park. Hope you all enjoy..
