Sketches in Thyme 375

There are soooo many pretty things you can do with this ----
Well, guess what I did.... Hmmmm...
Made it into a boys layout!

Unique

Using an old Kaiser range "Attitude" I adapted this truly beautiful sketch into a rads boys layout..

This super cute photo of my little man was taken at the creek at our local forest. It's such a beautiful fresh water swimming hole that is very popular with locals and tourist.
I had quite a lot of these papers still left as I love them so much I seem to dodge away from using them, BUT that is not what we are suppose to do as crafters is it?! We are suppose to use our supplies not just hoard them.. lol..

So not being too shy I chose to really dig in and got very cut happy with the scissors to make sure I got all the right elements on this layout that I wanted.. Instead of flowers I just added those flag ribbon thingys and buttons that coordinate with the papers.
The circles I fussy cut myself as they just happen to be the size between the two circle punches I have.. lol    You can see that I have used some plain card stock circles that I did punch out though, that are slightly larger and smaller than the pattern paper..

Again, instead of the pretty doileys I used fussy cut out these tags and shapes from the patter paper..
And I made sure I added just enough plain coloured cardstock to make the different pp's pop out..

I hope you have enjoyed this layout. It's looks simple but actually took a bit more thinking about the placements and layering than normal.. Can you tell I'm absolutely loving it!
Thanks for joining me today! Make sure you head on over to the Sketches In Thyme challenge blog to see their challenges each week and of course you have until the end of the month to link up your own creations..

Toni.. xoxo
