Humour

I was very honoured today to have been chosen as the winner of a Scrapbook Challenge for March amongst a crafting group I joined this month..  I was so beyond surprised and grateful!!

As part of winning, I got to set the new challenge for April..
I have noticed quite a few of the group members struggle with masculine themes, so I decided to really throw a challenge their way to celebrate a special male in their lives!
Using a photo of either a grandfather / father / uncle / husband / boyfriend / cousin / son / grandson / friend and journaling about something they share with this person whether it be looks / personality / hobby / interests / attended the same school / favourite colour..

I also came up with my own layout design to help incase they stumble with their creativity, but this is optional and not a requirement.  I left it wide up for the crafter to put the title & journaling wherever suits them and of course they can add any extra elements or embellishments as they wish.

For my layout I featured the wicked sense of Humour that Hunter and I share..
This layout features my youngest son Hunter and one of our favourite speedway drivers.. He has bit of a bad boy rep and you either love him or hate him... We of courser absolutely love Kerry Madsen.. But this year the team grabbed an opporunity to capture the haters also. They made up "Kerry Madsen Sucks" t shirt.. When I told Hunter about it, he laughed so hysterically and wanted one so badly.. Unfortunately though they were limited edition prints for an event 2000km away from us.. Luckily I was able to contact Kerry and the team, so they put a special shirt away for Hunter and we picked it up the next weekend at the Aust Sprintcar Championship..

As some extra inspiration I also shared some past layouts that I've done that capture things my boys and I share;

Lane and I share OPTIMISM.

 Both of my boys have MY EYES.

I have passed on my passion for MOTORSPORT with both my boys.

My boys and I love being in NATURE. But not for too long.. lol

Hunter seems to have inherited my ATTITUDE.

We all love ADVENTURE.

Most of these have been passed from me onto my children. This one though started with Lane. Enjoying a day at FOOTY. Both of my boys are outstanding players. I just help with washing jerseys and team admin.. I'm happy just to watch! hahahaha....
