Boys Train - Double Sided Stepper Card

Boys will be Boys

Double sided stepper card

For my second project for my recent Memory Maze DT post, I wanted to share something that my youngest son Hunter (5yrs old) had quite a creative input into. This is the first stepper style card I have done and honestly only made it  "just for fun".

The base for the card was actually quite quick and I look forward to creating some girl themed ones with more detailed embellishments and techniques in the near future, and hopefully share those with you too.
Although we made a stepper card, I have great visions of this chipboard set being used in a Card In A Box style product also.

But for now, I had fun with some Twinkling H2Os on the chipboard pieces.
These are the pieces we used.

This is a piece we were trying some different colouring combinations trials on.

Thank you for visiting..
Be back soon hopefully.. :)

Life is Beautiful canvas (video)

August is so lovely here in Yeppoon.. We are very lucky and blessed to live in a little coastal town in the perfect state of Queensland, Australia.. It is perfectly never too hot, nor too cold. It is really quite nice to send the kids to happily play outside while I'm quietly able to get some crafting done.
I can still see them either out the door or window while they are on the swings, trampoline, playing basketball or riding their scooters.. So I created this first project to capture that feeling of loveliness and nature while showcasing some wonderful Memory Maze chipboard pieces on the small 130mm x 130mm square canvas.

Life is Beautiful

I have also created a special video that features the techniques and products used.
The video only goes for 2:37 minutes, so if you have a spare moment today I would love it if you were able to check it out.. :)
