For the next challenge entry I'm sharing with you today, is for the 123 scrapbooking challenge.. 

I used to love being a part of the challenges regularly with this blog a while ago, but haven't managed to enter any in ages, until now.. 

I love the challenge this month and got straight into it when it was released..

I loved working on this sketch.. 

The words MEMORY and LANE are found in the short journaling.. 

The colours are obviously Black / White & Grey.. 

Featuring back to school photos of my amazing boys.. This is Lane's final year of high school and Hunter is in grade 5...
I used the Legendary collection from Cocoa Vanilla..

dream big

It has been a while that I have managed to get some challenge layouts done, so this past week I've been focusing on trying to get a few done.. Here is the second one I'd like to share with you.. 

It's from a challenge group on facebook.. 

We were given the sketch and instructions to include Green..

I loved this sketch and was so keen to get a layout done!
I finally set up & printed a photo off with my new Selphy that I got for Mothers Day.. 🙂
The photo featured on this layout is of myself & my little man Hunter just over a week ago.. The papers are Urban Garden - from Uniquely Creative.. Prima flower cluster.. American Crafters Thickers words.

Born to Soar

Welcome back my crafty friends and family... It has been a few months since I have manage to capture the time to enter a challenge and over this past weekend I have got a few projects done, so please keep an eye on this blog or my facebook page to see all of the lastest.. :) 

Today I'm bringing to you an amazing challenge that I have been waiting very impatiently to get started on from Scrap The Girls.. 

I actually picked up the products for this challenge while I was in Brisbane about a week ago.. 

They are asking us to create a layout using "It's in my soul" them, with a BOHO feel and this mood board for inspiration.. As soon as I saw it, I knew what I wanted to do... 

Born to Soar

I can not even begin to explain how happy I am with this layout.. It came out exactly how I had pictured it in my head... (and for us crafters, we know just how rare that really is.. lol) 

Thanks to Ella for allowing me to use her stunning photo!!
(as I definitely wouldn't have been able to pull it off..) 

I started off with a base and added Gold ink to a plastic sleeve, sprayed with water, spread it around and daubed it on to layer on more gold.. 

 

The paper collection I have used is Harmony from Mintay and some extra goodies from 49 Market in there too.. The big cut out is designed and cut by Scrapbook Fantasies.. 

 

For those that know me, know I hate fussy cutting!!! But the hours I spent last night on this layout was absolutely worth every minute!  It looks much better in real life than what the photos show. The layers on this are 3 and 4 deep.. 

The photo is matted on a simple brown piece of cardstock..

Cyber Crop with Sal - facebook group..

I was a part of another awesome Cyber Crop this month... It was held by a facebook group "card swaps with Sal" and featured loads of challenges all TRAVEL themed.. .. I didn't get the all done, but manged to complete most of them.. :) 

Challenge 1 -  make a card using a Tic Tac Toe picture.. 

Challenge 2 - was to share a selfie while travelling.. 

Challenge 3 - make a travel luggage tag..

White With One - Ice

Welcome back White with One crafters.. I hope you are enjoying this lovely cooling weather here in Australia recently.. I know in central Qld we are having the lowest high temps during the day ever in recorded history.. 
This month at White With One we have been inspired by this to create layouts featuring an ICE colour.. We also have a fun mood board to use also if you wish.. 

 

WHITE WITH ONE - CHALLENGE BLOG

White Christmas 

This fun colour fits in well with a special photo of my boys in front of the Movie World arch for our very first White Christmas experience... This was an evening that totally blew us away and we had so much fun! Definitely something I'd love to continue doing to into the future with your boys and other friends / family too.. 

I added a white piece of cardstock on any angle and covered it with some gauze, a tag and loads of flowers.. 

I believe we should never be afraid to feature flowers on a male layout! This fun colour was perfect to capture the feeling of our first “White Christmas” Aussie style at Movie World.
